Martha, Martha

Mary and Martha were friends of the Lord.

They had him over to hear the word.

Martha was busy tending to guests,
In frustration, she made one request
“Lord, don’t you see what I’m trying to do here
My sister just sits there like she doesn’t care.
Won’t you please tell her to get up and help
Now, it could have been to Martha’s dismay,
I’m tired of carrying this load by myself.” But here’s what the Lord had to say,
You are troubled by too many things
“Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha I believe and I perceive, Mary has chosen the greater part
Are you so busy you don’t know what to do?
And that is to care for the things of her heart.” Mary or Martha, now, which one are you? Have you taken the time to just sit at his feet
You think you’re doing what he wants you to do
Or are you running ragged feeling so incomplete? Now it is hard to work for the Lord When you don’t take the time to hear his word But the Lord has prepared a banquet for you
Mary has chosen the greater part
All that he asks, is you spend time with him So he won’t have to say it again! “Martha, Martha, Martha, Martha I believe and I perceive, You are troubled by too many things
And that is to care for the things of her heart.”

 We Need Restoration

We need to retrace our steps
And pick up the convictions
We’ve lost along the way
We need to replace the tears
With the good old fashioned joy
The Lord will send our way.
We need a revelation
We need a new vision
We need a renewed love for the Word
We need a true repentance
A strong conviction
We need restoration for our souls
We need to erase the past
But remember the blessings
The Lord has brought our way
Lord, please create in me
A clean heart and spirit
Renew me Lord today
We need a revelation
We need a new vision
We need a renewed Love for your word
We need a true repentance
A strong conviction
We need restoration in the church

When Tiime Will Be No More

When Time Will Be No More

Where are you going to be when that last trumpet sounds?
Soaring through the sky or standing on the ground?
When the roll is called up yonder, will he call your name
Are you covered by the blood or burdened by your shame.
What will you be doing during the time that was foretold?
Running for shelter or walking streets of gold?
Will you walk through gates of pearl when the race comes to an end?
Will he say he never knew you or will he call you friend?
These questions must be answered now, there’s no time to delay
You can not afford to take it and cast it all at bay
There may not be time enough for you to open your heart’s door
Once the time comes when time will be no more.
